2023 in summary – Communications, content and copywriting I helped my team work on

Across 2022 and 2023, I got deep into the mines with FCB Group Australia / New Zealand, employed to work full time remotely from Whangarei, Northland NZ. FCB Group (since renamed Citation Group) are an HR and employment law software company who offer several related services through their family of brands – international quality standards certification, visa and migration services, legal services and more.

The daily mission was to help HR SaaS brands such as enableHR and HR Assured talk to huge audiences – sometimes we’d reach out to many thousands of people through digital newsletters, email marketing, video and social media to let them know about:

• Informative webinars to boost their business
• Newly-published articles
• Developments in visa and migration law
• Opportunities to boost business by pursuing ISO certification
• Sales, specials and unmissable deals
• eBooks created to make HR law compliance simple for business owners
• Updates to the Knowledge Base to help people get the most out of their HR Assured or enableHR

Probably most important of all, we helped both existing clients and non-clients understand how employment law affects everyone involved in a business. The mission: keep people safe from being penalised, ripped off, exploited, and to keep business owners and managers from setting themselves up for government penalties for making HR mistakes.
